Our History |
I am Tracy Botset - Founder of P.O.I.S.E. PAGEANTRY. I have been involved in pageantry for over 25 years. I have Directed for the Miss America Scholarship System on the Local level in the State of Virginia. I have been on the Miss America's qualified judges list and have coached many young ladies from 4 to 23 in every arena of pageantry. Pageantry is more than Glitz and Glamour, make-up and fancy dresses. Pageantry is growing as a person, being a positive role model, having passion and drive. It involves, community service, having a platform and using the crown as a microphone to speak and educate others about that platform. My passion is for young women to be prepared for life's everyday obstacles. The first tool in this art is by learning to believe in yourself, by Pursuing obedience, Integrity, Self-Esteem and Excellence. I believe that so many young women are hit with the harsh reality of just not being prepared for life after high school and college; not knowing how to participate in a simple job interview or even knowing how to dress for an interview. My desire is to grow P.O.I.S.E. to the point of helping prepare young women for this life process and give them the tools they need to be as successful as they can be. To promote women past the title and the crown right on into their lives, their future and encourage them to Leave their Fingerprint on this world for all to see.
